Welcome to my corner of the internet.

A bit more about me: I grew up in a small town in North Yorkshire. With constantly itchy fit, I set off alone to Argentina aged 18 and embarked on a challenge to soak up as much of the world as I could, taking me to a grand total of 4 languages and having lived and worked in 6 countries by 30.

These days, I am based in the South West of England, with regular hops to London. I am lucky to say that the majority of my day is spent on doing things I love, which forms a varied bunch of tasks including financial education, financial coaching, content creation, public speaking, designing, writing, filming and a little bit of adventuring in there too.

I started my career in finance as a Wealth Manager in Milan, where I gained the UK and US financial advice qualifications. Handling international finances was fantastic and ignited a spark of passion for the sector, but after a while, I found that the work wasn’t having the impact I envisioned and crucially I began to notice more and more that millions were missing out on crucial financial knowledge, thanks to the likes of the gender investing gap and the advice gap.

I left La Bella Vita in Italy and moved back to the UK, working for the award winning Danish startup Female Invest on their UK expansion as their in house UK financial content specialist. I really found my passion for talking all things finance and helping thousands of women grow their knowledge on investing. I spent a further year in a UK based fintech targeting a female market before co-founding my company, Financial Freedom Coaching and focusing on my own brand, Words on Wealth, where I work democratising access to financial education. I also continue to work as a freelance consultant within financial education in schools as well as on startup growth and innovation.

I have given financial education workshops for many global organisations including Rothschild, Nasdaq, Snapchat, Orsted, Deloitte and Kayak. I have also featured in the press both nationally and across the globe, including in Good Housekeeping, Stylist Magazine, Business Insider and a on Channel 5 television.
